Online Study with WSET®
At several course levels, WSET® offers online classes with the option of sitting the exam in New York City. As a courtesy to prospective online students, we provide the following information on this WSET® online program.
Online courses with a New York exam include the following:
• WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits (Intermediate Course)
• WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines (Advanced Course)

How does it work?
You register directly through WSET’s London Wine & Spirits School at the links below, take classes in a digital classroom led by a WSET® instructor, then sit your exam(s) at International Wine Center in New York City.
There are no entry requirements for the WSET® Level 2 online course with the London Wine & Spirits School.

WSET® Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits
Level 2 Intermediate Course
– Online Level 2 Course November 26 – December 29, 2017
Exam: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 6:00pm
Registration is open until 6:59pm Saturday, November 18, 2017
– Online Level 2 Course March 24 – April 27, 2018
Exam: Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 6:00pm
Registration is open until 11:30pm Sunday, March 11, 2018
WSET® Level 3 Award in Wines
Level 3 Advanced Course
– Online Level 3 Course January 13 – March 16, 2018
Exam: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00pm
Tasting Session/Practice Exam: Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00am
Registration is open until 11:30pm Sunday, December 31, 2017
There are no Diploma Online Study offerings at this time.
Students may register for WSET® Online Classes directly on the links provided above. When registering for the online class with a New York exam, please be sure to follow the appropriate link as each class has its own registration page.
Upon registration, you will receive course materials from International Wine Center by FedEx and an e-mail from WSET® with instructions on logging into the online classroom. If you don’t receive study materials within fourteen business days of enrolling with WSET, phone IWC at (212) 239-3055.
You will be emailed a reminder of the Tasting Day if you are a WSET Level 3 online student. Please RSVP to this reminder by the date given.
A student may withdraw from a scheduled exam at International Wine Center without penalty if s/he notifies IWC within 15 business days of the scheduled exam date. After this cut-off date, fees will apply to reschedule.
To schedule an alternate exam date for those courses, students should consult the IWC Exams page and contact us to register at least 15 business days prior to the exam date. Exams for Units of Diploma study have more rigid cut-off deadlines, which are explained at the time of registration.
