International Wine Center offers the Unit 3 course once per year, beginning in January. Exams for Unit 3 are given twice per year; once in June, once in January.

Exam Day Details
The exam begins at 10:00AM sharp and ends at 4:30PM. We will distribute exam papers and conduct preliminary business beginning at 9:45AM. No coffee or food is permitted in the room after 9:30AM. The lunch break is one hour. The room will be open to candidates during the lunch break and you may wish to bring your lunch.
You must bring pens and/or pencils and you may bring your own wine glasses. You may also bring a timing device (no cellphones allowed) and liquid paper/White out. We will provide spittoons, napkins, placemats, and scrap paper, and wine glasses will be available. We suggest you bring bottled water to rinse your glasses between tasting papers.
Be aware that anyone wearing scent will not be admitted to the room.
The schedule of the exam is:
10:00AM to 11:00AM Tasting Paper 1
11:30AM to 12:30PM Tasting Paper 2
12:30PM to 1:30PM Lunch Break
1:30PM to 4:30PM Theory Examination
If you are sitting only the Theory Examination, you need not arrive in the morning.
Re-sit Only
The Re-sit Only option is available only to students who have already attempted the Unit 3 exam but need to re-sit one or both portions.
(Please note that students are permitted to register for one portion of the exam ONLY if they have already passed either the Theory or the Tasting portion)

Diploma ONLINE for Continuing Students

Induction Course to the ONLINE Format of WSET® Diploma
All students must enroll in an Induction Course to the ONLINE Diploma in conjunction with the first Unit of Diploma that they study online. This Induction Course will orient you to the tools and procedures of the ONLINE Diploma program. Choose an Induction Course that closely precedes the start date of your first ONLINE Unit. For all Diploma ONLINE courses, including Induction, students should expect to spend approximately 10 hours per week working on the ONLINE activities. The Induction Course is free when you register for any Unit of ONLINE Diploma study*.
