WSET Foundation Certificate
This entry-level course teaches the basics of wine in a format specially designed for those with no previous wine knowledge. Ideal for consumers or those new to wine, the Foundation course focuses on the main styles of wines available, tasting technique, wine and food pairing as well as wine etiquette. The class consists of either a two three-hour session or a three two-hours session and concludes with a short multiple-choice exam of 45 minutes.

Fees
$298.00 plus $10.00 registration fee and NYS sales tax

Schedule:  6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, May 22nd through June 5.
Location:  350 7th Ave. (b/w 29th and 30th St.), Suite 1201
Exam:  6 p.m. Tuesday, June 5. If you are unable to sit the exam June 5, you can withdraw without penalty by May 21; please call or email IWC and we will be happy to assist you. After May 21 we will have ordered the examinations and there will be a $60 fee plus tax to re-schedule your exam. Students have a period of 12 months from the course start date to sit the exam. If the exam is not completed within 12 months, another exam fee must be paid.
